Master class on “How to import items, warehouse and financial documents from an Excel file into the Jumis system”
|
Objective of the masterclass: To learn how to import data from an Excel file into the Jumis system in cases where the required input data is already in Excel format, thereby saving time and avoiding manual data entry. The masterclass is suitable for users without advanced computer skills.
In the masterclass, we will practically import item cards, warehouse and financial documents from an Excel file into the Jumis system. Participants will receive prepared Excel files into which they can paste their own data and import it into their Jumis system. We will also discuss what to pay attention to when creating and preparing Excel documents for import.

Items import:
- Filling in the Excel file according to the simplified template, taking into account the specifics of each field (fields: code, name, short name, unit of measure, type, barcode, expiry date, certificate, country of origin, CN code, notes, accounting group, price for one price type, desired quantity for one warehouse, dimension);
- Filling in the Excel file according to the structured template (in addition to the simplified version, you can add prices by price types and partners, and the desired quantity by warehouses);
- Importing items from an Excel file into the Jumis system and analyzing data inconsistencies.

Warehouse document import:
- Filling in the Excel file according to the simplified template when the warehouse document contains only one item line, taking into account the specifics of each field (fields: document number, series, date, type, kind, currency, rate, partner, partner’s warehouse address, payment term, delivery date, company warehouse address, employee, posting method, payment method, notes, discount %, carrier, nature of transaction, dimension; item code, name, accounting group, unit of measure, quantity, price, discount %, VAT rate, warehouse, notes, etc.);
- Filling in the Excel file according to the structured template when the warehouse document contains multiple item lines;
- Importing warehouse documents from an Excel file into the Jumis system and analyzing data inconsistencies.

Financial document import:
- Filling in the Excel file according to the simplified template when the financial document contains only one posting, taking into account the specifics of each field (fields: document date, number, series, payment term, partner, employee, notes, type, group, currency, amount, dimension; posting debit account code, credit account code, amount, VAT rate, currency, cost centre, additional posting indicator, notes);
- Filling in the Excel file according to the structured template when the financial document contains multiple postings;
- Importing financial documents from an Excel file into the Jumis system and analyzing data inconsistencies.
